Italian designers Paolo Pallucco and Mireille Rivier are renowned for their non-conformist approach and their ability to bridge the gap between art and design.
The couple produced some of the most radical and uncompromising pieces of 1980s design, which are increasingly sought after by decorators and collectors alike.
They collaborated with the star photographer of the time, Peter Lindbergh, as well as with Rei Kawakubo, for whose fashion boutiques Pallucco produced the furniture.
The "Orrido Canyon" table features a sculptural base made up of three inclined cylindrical legs.
The original tempered glass top allows total transparency of the magnificent base.
The Orrido Canyon is the only dining table designed by Paolo Pallucco and Mireille Rivier.
Excellent condition with original platter.
