Product description
Sculptural table lamp produced in Sweden during the 1950s by the celebrated glassworks Orrefors. This piece is a documented model, identified via labeled examples of identical form and numbering. It features a fluid, organic body crafted from hand-blown art glass using the "Sommerso" (cased) technique, encasing a deep cobalt blue core within a thick layer of clear crystal. The heavy, asymmetrical form creates a sophisticated optical depth. The neck is finished with a brass ring hardware. The base is incised with the number "13", confirming its cataloged status. A verified example of high-quality Scandinavian Modern design. The lamp can be wired for use in the USA free of charge upon customer request.
