Here stands a beautiful, elegant plant table made of solid oak from the Amsterdam School period. The Amsterdam School is the Dutch version of Art Deco. This Dutch style reached its peak around the 1920s and 1930s. In the Netherlands, this style extended into the 1940s and 1950s. This plant table dates from these later years.
The table has been thoroughly and expertly restored. All dirt, wax, and water marks have been removed. The table has then been restored to its original state. It stands firmly on its legs, has a particularly elegant appearance, and has been freed from its previous flaws.
All the wood has been finished with environmentally friendly hardwax oil. This oil penetrates the wood and seals the surface. This prevents marks and repels dirt. (Reapply every six months.)
