An original Zirax table lamp by Dr. Ing. Schneider & Co. from the 1930s – a distinctive Bauhaus piece with an industrial appeal. The black enamel shade, flexible neck, and heavy cast iron base perfectly embody the functional, clean lines of this era. The stepped base is particularly striking, lending the lamp its distinctive architectural presence.
The lamp has been carefully restored, its authentic patina deliberately preserved, and protected with a lacquer finish. Equipped with a new, extra-long cotton textile cable and a new brass socket with a rotary switch, it is ready for immediate use. Minor signs of wear and scratches on the shade underscore the genuine vintage character of this rare design classic.
