With a heavy heart, I am selling my original Siemens lamp (designed by Peter Behrens in 1908). Purchased back then at the antique shop 't Aloude in Utrecht. Enclosed is some information that was provided at the time.
The lamp no longer fits in my modern home because the ceiling is too low for it :-( It looks best when it hangs freely.
The top of the lamp is frosted glass, the bottom is opaline/milk glass. The metal is brass or copper; I have never dared to polish it.
The lamp is still in fine condition as far as I can see; there might be a few tiny chips near the edge, but I am not sure (I haven't had to replace the LED bulb yet). It takes an E27 bulb.
With the chain, the lamp is 78 cm high.
Pickup is preferred (Rotterdam Delfshaven).
