A piece of true Italian gambling history. I'm selling a splendid original Punto Banco (Baccarat) table from the 1980s, originally from the prestigious halls of the Venice Casino.
Made with the highest-quality materials (made by G. Abbiati in Turin, a historic leader in the industry), this table is a unique collector's item.
It's the perfect furnishing element for a private gaming room, a man cave, an exclusive club, or as a design piece with unmistakable charm.
Features and Craftsmanship:
Structure: Solid and imposing, crafted from fine wood, expertly crafted and perfectly polished, with the classic and elegant "kidney bean" shape.
Details: Shaped perimeter edge with inlaid brass cup holders and chip slots.
Components: The original tip slots (drop box) and card chute are still present.
Technical Specifications:
Height: 83 cm
Width: 275 cm
Depth: 155 cm
Weight: Approximately 200 kg
Item Condition:
Wood and Brass Frame: In excellent condition. The woodwork is solid, with no structural damage, and the wood's lustrous finish is still beautiful, a testament to the piece's high quality.
Playing Cloth: The original green/blue cloth shows deep signs of discoloration due to exposure to sunlight. I particularly note a visible stain in the shape of a "chip scoop" (rake), which remained on the table during the display period, which has "printed" its shape into the cloth. (Note: The cloth can be kept as is for those who appreciate the "lived-in" charm of this historic piece, or it can easily be replaced by an upholsterer to restore the table to its former glory.)
