Original Royal System wall unit by Poul Cadovius, made of teak and black metal. A characteristic Danish Mid-Century design from the 1950s/1960s. The system consists of two sections of approximately 80 cm wide and is fully modular with wooden wall uprights and the original black metal wire brackets. The standard shelves are approximately 80 × 20 cm. Deeper shelves are located at the bottom, making the furniture also suitable as a work, display, or storage unit. In addition to the parts shown, 2 extra original shelves of 80 × 20 cm are included. No additional brackets are available for these two extra shelves. The wall unit is in good original vintage condition. The wood has a beautiful warm patina. There are signs of use consistent with its age, including scratches, small damages to some edges, and marks around some mounting points. The black metal brackets also show signs of age and some paint loss/oxidation in places. Please see the detailed photos for this. Structurally, the system is in good condition. It has not been recently restored, thus preserving its original character.
