Original French poster printed on paper and linen-backed, "Treasury Bond. 500F redeemable at 750F from the sixth to the tenth year by lottery," published during World War I. Printed in orange and yellow by Les Imprimeries Françaises Réunies, 25 Boulevard des Italiens, Paris. Published by the State during World War I, it is unusual in that no year is indicated. It can be dated between 1914 (the year the State allowed the general public to subscribe to treasury bonds) and 1930 (the year the printing works was located at 50 rue de Chateaudun). Good condition considering its age, one horizontal crease, foxing and stains, yellowed paper, a few minor losses. See photos. Dimensions: 79.5 x 114.5 cm for the poster. Weight: approximately 600g. Currently, the poster is shipped rolled (only 3-4 turns). For flat shipping, please contact me for an additional charge.
