Original French poster printed on paper and linen-backed to cardboard, "The Liberation Loan." Color lithograph, illustrated by Abel Faivre, printed by Maquet Gr., Paris. Produced during the First World War. The image depicts the Allied countries, represented by their flags, defeating the Prussians, symbolized by the bowing soldier, dressed in gray and wearing his distinctive helmet. Good condition considering its age, some creases and stains, a tear, and minor losses along the edges. See photos. Dimensions: 80 x 120 cm (poster). Weight: 1270 g. The cardboard backing requires flat shipping. For shipping without the cardboard backing, the poster will be rolled.
