Original French paper poster with cardboard backing, "No unproductive money! Let's use our banknotes. Like gold, they fight for victory!" dating from World War I. Printed in black and orange by DRAEGER Frères, Paris, VISA no. 9106. The printing works still exists today. This patriotic poster was published by the State to encourage citizens to contribute to the financing of World War I. Fairly good condition, one horizontal crease, foxing and stains, paper yellowed. See photos. Dimensions: approximately 65 x 100 cm for the poster, 67.5 x 101.5 cm for the cardboard backing. Weight: 830 g. The poster alone, rolled without its backing, can be shipped by mail.
