Original French paper poster with cardboard backing, "Crédit National – To facilitate the repair of war damage – Subscribe to hasten the rebirth of devastated countries," dating from the end of World War I (1920). The first issue of Crédit National, this poster was created on October 10, 1919; design by Léon Constant Duval (1877-1956), and printed by Imprimeries Joseph Charles, Paris. Fairly good condition, one large stain at the top, tears only at the edges, yellowing of the paper, no creases. See photos. Dimensions: approximately 80 x 120 cm. Weight: approximately 1230 g.
