A beautiful antique, authentic Chinese chest of drawers (also known as a "scholar's desk" or low writing table). This unique piece of furniture is made of robust old wood and has acquired a stunning, weathered character over the years. The cabinet features a functional drawer with the original, authentic metal locking hardware on the front. Due to its simple and rugged appearance, this cabinet fits perfectly into a country, industrial, or Wabi-Sabi interior (think of the style of Hoffz or Aura Peeperkorn). Ideal for use as a sturdy bedside table, a unique side table, or as a decorative element in the living room. Additional information: traces of paint on the inside of the drawer and the back give this unique cabinet an extra lived-in character (see photos).
