Product Description
For sale is an original serving platter from the Meissen porcelain manufactory, featuring the world-famous Blue Onion pattern.
The platter impresses with its elegant shape, high-quality underglaze blue hand-painted decoration, and the excellent craftsmanship for which Meissen porcelain has been prized worldwide for centuries.
This serving platter bears the form number 825 and the original Meissen crossed swords mark. Based on the existing manufacturer's marks, the platter dates from 1951.
The two factory grinding marks in the logo indicate that it is a second-quality piece.
Provenance:
This serving platter comes from a family estate and is being offered for sale from this collection for the first time. It is in exceptionally well-preserved collector's condition.
