The elegant leaf shape with its artfully crafted handle makes this piece a true eye-catcher. The high-quality underglaze blue hand-painting and excellent workmanship are hallmarks of the time-honored quality of Meissen porcelain.
This is shape number 265 with the original Meissen crossed swords mark, without any grinding marks, indicating first quality. The bowl is ideal as a serving dish, for pastries or sweets, and is also a highly sought-after collector's item.
