For sale is an original large oval serving platter from Meissen in the world-famous Blue Onion pattern.
The platter impresses with its elegant, curved shape, high-quality underglaze blue hand-painted decoration, and the excellent craftsmanship for which Meissen porcelain has been prized worldwide for centuries.
This large serving platter bears the mold number 298 and the original Meissen crossed swords mark without any grinding marks, indicating first quality. It is suitable both as a high-quality serving dish and as a sought-after collector's item.
