The platter impresses with its elegant, curved shape, the high-quality underglaze blue hand-painted decoration, and the excellent craftsmanship for which Meissen porcelain has been prized worldwide for centuries.
This large serving platter bears the form number 298 and the original Meissen crossed swords mark without any grinding marks, indicating first quality. It is suitable both as a high-quality serving dish and as a highly sought-after collector's item.
Provenance: The serving platter comes from a family estate and is being offered for sale from this collection for the first time. It is in exceptionally well-preserved collector's condition.
