Original ERCO Leuchten wall light, model 54 090, dating from the 1960s.
This distinctive German Mid-Century Modern wall lamp features a substantial transparent moulded-glass shade with a deep geometric bubble texture. When illuminated, the sculptural glass beautifully refracts the light, producing warm highlights and a soft, atmospheric glow.
Its compact architectural form makes it suitable for a hallway, living room, bedroom, dining area, staircase, hotel, restaurant or other carefully designed interior. It can be used as a single statement wall light or arranged in a series for a stronger decorative effect.
CONDITION
Very good vintage condition.
The transparent glass shade is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or other damage. The metal mounting base shows light age-related scratches and small areas of dark patina, consistent with the lamp’s age and authentic vintage character.
The lamp has been carefully cleaned. Surface dirt and superficial rust have been removed, although a small amount of dark patina remains on the metal base. The ceramic E14 lamp holder is in good condition.
All main components are original. Only the rubber cable grommet was replaced for safety.
