Original vintage pendant lamp by the Dutch brand Dijkstra, presumably produced in the 1970s.
The geometric cylindrical shape, the metal shade, and the rhythmic vertical slots fit well within the Space Age style and the modernist Dutch design of this period.
The shade is finished in a warm dark brown color. The light interior reflects the light well, while the openings around the underside create an atmospheric and decorative lighting effect.
The lamp is complete with:
– Original metal shade,
– Black ceiling rose,
– Cable,
– Socket,
– Adjustable cable components,
– Original Dijkstra sticker.
The lamp is in very good and complete original vintage condition.
The metal shade is straight and has no dents or distortions. The paintwork is well preserved. All plastic parts are intact, and the cable adjustment on both the lamp and the ceiling rose works correctly.
The original Dijkstra sticker has come loose due to age. The original mounting location is still visible, and the original sticker is included with the lamp. The white marks on part of the cable are paint residue from ceiling painting and not traces of a repair. The cable has not been cut, but was removed from the terminal block normally during disassembly.
The lamp has not been electrically retested after disassembly. A standard check and connection by a qualified person is recommended before installation.
