Description: For sale is an absolute design classic from the Swiss luxury manufacturer De Sede. This is a modular corner sofa (L-shaped) from the iconic DS-4 / DS-11 model series (design from the late 1970s/1980s).
The sofa impresses with its timeless, cubic lines and the uncompromising craftsmanship for which De Sede is known worldwide.
Manufacturer: De Sede (Switzerland)
Certification of Authenticity: Original woven "Status Of De Sede International" lettering in the upholstery fabric under the seat cushions (guaranteed authenticity).
Material: High-quality, thick, smooth leather in a sophisticated dark brown.
Construction: Floor-length, cubic armrests. The corner section rests on elegantly leather-covered connecting legs.
Dimensions: L x W x D = 280 x 235 x 84 cm, seat height approx. 44 cm, seat depth approx. 50 cm
Condition: Very well-maintained vintage condition. The leather has a beautiful, even patina, is soft, and shows no cracks, holes, or deep wear. The loose seat and back cushions retain their shape perfectly and are not sagging at all. It was kept in a pet-free, non-smoking home.
The sofa has light, superficial scratches in various places, but no deep damage to the leather. There are two pressure marks on the back of the corner section (not visible), caused by a plug/socket, as it was placed close to the wall.
For its age, it is in truly excellent condition.
The sofa can be viewed by prior arrangement. Collection only (assistance with loading is available) or delivery via a furniture removal company arranged by the buyer.
