This is a very rare find: a Ditmar Urbach AG bowl set from around 1924-1931. Made in Czechoslovakia. The base mark shows the logo with the letter Z and wings. Z stands for Znojmo. The four stackable bowls are in very good condition. Painted with a timeless yet classic Art Deco design. No scratches, no discoloration – like new. One bowl has slight glaze cracks on the underside, which are insignificant for use and appearance. The diameters and heights range from approximately 20 to 14 cm and 9.8 to 6.4 cm. In 1924, the Ditmar-Urbach AG joint-stock company was founded, headquartered in Znojmo with a branch, Urbach Bros. Ltd., in Teplice. By resolution of the general meeting, the company's headquarters were moved from Znojmo to Prague in 1931.
