A beautiful, authentic 19th-century engraving titled "Dans la prairie" (In the Meadow), based on the famous naturalist masterpiece by the French painter Julien Dupré (1851–1910).
This specific piece is an original artist's print, expertly cut into the plate by the renowned French engraver Albert-Georges Bessé (1871–1958).

Hand-signed: In the lower right margin, the print is authentically signed by hand in pencil by the engraver (A. Bessé). This indicates a limited art edition.
Name in the plate: Features the original inscription “JULIEN DUPRE” in the lower right of the image and “A. Besse sc.” in the upper right.
