A mid-century modern table lamp, commonly referred to as the "Orbital" model, designed in the 1970s by the Italian architecture and design trio Piero De Martini, Falconi, and Francesco Fois for Reggiani Illuminazione.
The fixture features a spherical white opaline glass shade, fitted with a prominent chromed metal upper collar that houses a top-facing bulb socket. The glass globe rests unattached on a separate, clear cylindrical plexiglas base. This functional layout allows the user to rotate and tilt the shade in multiple directions to manually adjust the direction of the light output.
An original production sticker from the designers ("Dis. architetti De Martini Falconi Fois") remains present on the chrome edge, documenting its provenance.
Very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. The glass shade is free of damage. Light surface wear and faint scratches present on the chrome rim and plexiglas base.
