Very old church or oratory sideboard from the late 18th or early 19th century in solid walnut wood, fully treated, restored and waxed. It features 3 compartments: in the upper part, a small shelf opening onto a small chest, a large door in the central half and a drawer in the lower part.
It shows the usual signs of wear and tear for furniture over 150 years old, such as old wood-eating insect holes (but the wood has been treated and there are none left), cracks, particularly on the back and sides, and old water-glass stains on the top.
It has been fully restored, in particular to the hinges of the flap (see photos).
The large door has no key, but a latch locking system.
