This concerns two vintage waiting benches by the brand Comforto, finished in a striking orange color scheme. The design is characteristic of the functional and robust aesthetic of institutional furniture from the second half of the twentieth century.
The two separate bench sections are constructed from a sturdy black metal frame upon which three seats are mounted. The seats and backrests are upholstered in a durable orange textile fabric, while the backs of the backrests are finished with a black plastic shell. The original Comforto label is still present on the frame, confirming the authenticity of the piece of furniture.
The furniture is in good condition commensurate with its age and previous use. The construction is solid and the upholstery has retained its vibrant color, displaying an authentic character that bears witness to its history.
