The vase was made in the 1960s by the Danish manufacturer Søholm.
A decorative vase made from art glass by Søholm – a Danish manufacturer from Bornholm, one of the most important centres of Scandinavian arts and crafts in the 20th century. The intense orange colour and the light inclusions embedded in the glass create an effect of depth and a subtle play of light. The simple, elegant form, with a profile that tapers slightly towards the base, emphasises the character of Scandinavian design from the 1960s and 1970s, which was dominated by clean lines and bold colours. Thanks to its minimalist silhouette, the vase looks excellent both as a standalone decorative piece and as part of a larger artistic glass arrangement. The original Søholm sticker remains on the body, confirming the item’s origin from this renowned Danish manufacturer.
