Exceptionally original ART PROTIS textile artwork from 1969 by the Czech artist Olga Karlíková (1923–2004).
The original ART PROTIS studio label, now heavily faded, is still present. The details are clearly legible under raking light or a flashlight:

Abstract composition executed in the characteristic Art Protis technique, built up from various layers of wool/textile joined together with decorative stitching.
The work still has the wooden stretcher and original labels on the back.
Vintage condition with signs of age. There is a small purple/violet spot at the bottom. This has not been treated or cleaned. See the photos for the condition.
