Product description
One of Ole Wanscher's most famous designs is the "Senator" armchair. It was produced in large numbers in Denmark for Poul Jeppesen in the 1960s. This applies to the standard version of the armchair, but also to the high-back version and the rocking chair with a low back. The fourth version, the high-back rocking chair shown in the photos, is extremely rare as it was produced in a one-off, limited edition. The teak frame is in perfect condition. The rocking chair has been reupholstered in a very supple blue-gray leather, and the cushion filling has also been replaced. This design gem and collector's item is a jewel for the living room, and in terms of seating comfort, it is a true recliner.
