The plate is in good condition and still has good color, completely pristine, 1929/1968.
It has a scalloped edge and was hand-painted by PH v Praag, commissioned by Oud Delft.
The center of the dish features a medallion depicting a putti blowing a horn.
The mark depicts a potter's wheel with the word "oud" above it and the name "Delft" below it.
It also features the monogram of the painter, P.H. v. Praag.
This factory was founded in 1920 in Nijmegen; in 1996, it became Aardewerkfabriek 't Delftse Huys B.V. in Waddinxveen.
Objects were hand-painted, marked from 1935 to 1968, and often included the painter's initials.
