Old Chinese Bridal Cabinet with Special Brass Butterfly Hardware. A characterful cabinet with ample storage space: two spacious shelves, two small interior drawers, and two wide drawers at the bottom. The cabinet was repainted in the past by a previous owner/seller. In a few spots where the later paint layer is damaged, the original deep reddish-brown lacquer is still visible. (See detail photos) These signs of use have been intentionally left intact. Additionally, old handwritten Chinese workshop or assembly markings are visible on the inside of the doors. The openwork butterfly hardware is richly detailed and forms a real eye-catcher. The cabinet has normal signs of wear consistent with age and use; these are also visible in the photos.
