A very beautiful and expressive oil painting – Autumn – by Peter Bednorz, 1991, in very good condition. A very beautiful and colorful work that highlights Peter Bednorz's work from this period. Purchased on March 17, 1993, and the artist signed the back in the presence of the buyer. The painting is in excellent, flawless condition, with no damage. The frame has a few small paint chips on the sides (not visible from the front). Frame dimensions: H / W / L 4.5 / 52 / 61 cm. Painting dimensions: W / L 23 / 29 cm. Peter Bednorz was born on July 2, 1960, in Dramatal/Upper Silesia. Peter Bednorz trained as a sculptor and studied painting and graphic arts in Katowice. He expanded his skills with new painting techniques, often inspired by specific types of music. The main theme of his work is expressing human feelings and emotional states. His paintings are held in private collections in Japan, the USA, Canada, and Germany, among other places. Born in 1960 in Dramatal near Gliwice (Upper Silesia/Poland), the artist signed his works "Peter Bednorz" until 2010 and enjoyed great success both nationally and internationally as a Pop Art artist. Peter Bednorz has achieved extraordinary success both in Germany and abroad. In 2006, the German Federal Government, through the mediation of the Federal Foreign Office, acquired his work "Berlin," which he dedicated to the theme of German reunification. His work has recently also been included in the collection of the Liesborn Abbey Museum in the Warendorf district (North Rhine-Westphalia). The world-famous 7-star hotel in Dubai, the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, also acquired a large-format work from him. As his artistic expression evolved, the artist began signing his works with the name Paul Thierry in 2010.
