Figurative oil on canvas depicting a young woman holding a bowl, signed M. Capron lower left.
French work from the mid-20th century, mounted on its original stretcher stamped “Châssis France” (French Stretcher), presented in its antique black and gold frame.
The scene, rendered with gentleness and a warm palette, is in keeping with the post-war French figurative tradition. A beautiful patina of age testifies to the painting's age.
