Oil lamp from the L47 series designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Markaryd AB in the 1960s.
It features a cylindrical solid brass reservoir and a large honey-amber blown glass shade, topped with a thin clear glass chimney. The ensemble illustrates Scandinavian modernist rigor, tempered by the warmth of amber glass typical of 1960s Swedish design.
