Magnificent Model 209 desk designed by Arne Vodder for Sibast in the 1960s.
This L-shaped desk, consisting of a very large top with a small side cabinet nested inside, upon which the main top rests, offers ample, functional, and highly practical storage.
The craftsmanship is exceptional, as is typical of most of Arne Vodder's furniture. For example, the folded edges on the ends of the main top and the side drawers create a stunning design.
Unfortunately, we do not have the keys to lock the storage compartments; one lock has been completely removed, as seen in one of the photos. This does not detract from the desk's beauty or functionality.
Aside from this, the desk is in very good vintage condition, although it does show some signs of wear from previous use.
