Very elegant Scandinavian office chair – This is a first edition from the early 1960s.
With its elegant, curved design, created by Arne Wahl Iversen in 1959, a time when Denmark was entering a new era, Iversen drew inspiration from the telephone, recognizable from the top view. It was also designed as a comfortable chair to sit next to the telephone. The armrest and backrest are made from a single piece of wood! (While this chair, still produced by Skovgaard Jensen in Denmark and sold for €2200, is now assembled using mortise and tenon joints).
The Oval chair is a modern classic that has found its place in many elegant interiors over the years. It has won numerous national and international awards.
