Obsidian Heart is a sculptural wall piece that explores the contrast between emotion and structure. The iconic heart shape is reinterpreted through sharp, faceted geometry, creating a strong visual tension between softness and strength.
The form is 3D printed and mounted on a painted canvas, then finished with acrylic spray to achieve a deep, matte black surface. The interaction of light with the geometric texture gives the piece a dynamic presence, constantly shifting depending on the viewer’s perspective.
