Oak sideboard (Skænk), designed by Børge Mogensen for the renowned Danish manufacturer AB Karl Andersson & Söner. This piece of furniture impresses with its clear, functionalist design and timeless aesthetic, perfectly reflecting Mogensen's design philosophy. The cuboid body rests on a slightly recessed plinth, giving the sideboard a calm and balanced presence. The two-door front is fitted with simple brass knobs and classic keyhole escutcheons. Inside, the sideboard offers ample storage space with a central partition and shelves, ideal for dishes, books, or decorative accessories.
Condition: Good, well-maintained vintage condition with age-related wear. There are light scratches, small dents, and minimal veneer irregularities, particularly on edges and corners. Overall, it presents a very harmonious appearance with a beautiful patina.
