Product description
This oak ottoman was purchased along with a set of Niels O. Møller Model 84 dining chairs and shares the same leg profile, frame construction, and proportions. The strong similarities in construction and detailing, as well as its purchase with a set of six authenticated Model 84 Møller chairs, indicate that the piece belongs to the same design series.
Although unsigned, the ottoman is considered a Model 84A, a rare companion piece to the Model 84 chairs.
Fully restored and finished with a traditional soap treatment, preserving the natural character of the oak. The seat has been re-woven by hand from paper cord using authentic materials and techniques.
