Beautiful rare armchair designed by Ejvind Johansson and produced by Feldballes Mobelfabrik in Denmark. The chair is marked with a stamp from the manufacturer and the date 2 February 1963. Architect and designer Ejvind A. Johansson succeeded Borge Mogensen as chief designer in the FDB design studio. This armchair stands out for its beautiful simple straight design and high seating comfort. The frame is made of solid oak and the seat and backrest have been reupholstered with a similar checked wool fabric as originally on the chair. This armchair is 78 cm high, 65 cm wide and 80 cm deep. The chair, which has been reupholstered, is in very good vintage condition.
