Welcome! You are looking at an original String Plex oak veneer cabinet with two sliding doors, two oak veneer shelves, and two black metal ladders with a plastic coating, by Kajsa & Nils Nisse Strinning, 1969. The original brand stickers have faded over the years, but I still have the original flyers and price list. Copies of the 1969 price list, including measurements, the price quote, and an original flyer, are included with the purchase.
It's quite difficult to accurately capture the colors in a photo, as the color of the wood changes with light and position, and no two are identical. These photos were taken indoors and outdoors in broad daylight. The color also depends on how you position the String furniture in your room, what you put in or on top of it, and whether you use natural or artificial light, or both.
The cabinet is in reasonably good vintage condition and is suitable for use. Wear consistent with age and use. Signs of wear include scratches and minor bumps in the finish of the ladders. Small patched veneer on the door edges slides into the slots. The hardboard back panel of the cabinet has a homemade hole used for the plug.
