Original set of six dining chairs designed by Niels O. Møller and produced by J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark. Originally designed in 1970, Model 82 is instantly recognizable by its commanding, nearly one-meter-high backrest. Widely known as the “Embassy Chair,” it became a defining piece in diplomatic and institutional interiors around the world.
The chairs feature harmonious proportions, understated strength, and exceptional craftsmanship. The frames are crafted from solid teak wood, freshly oiled, with a warm tone and beautiful grain. The Seats are upholstered in dark brown leather, preserved in fine original condition with a natural patina and only minor age-related wear such as light scratches and subtle color variations.
Each chair is marked beneath the seat. The set is structurally sound and presents beautifully. Model 82 combines timeless elegance with excellent comfort and refined visual presence, making it ideal for large dining tables, formal settings, or sophisticated modern interiors.
Condition: Very good original vintage condition with authentic patina. Minor wear consistent with age, overall well preserved and ready for use. A rare and distinguished set of Danish modern design.

Originales Set aus sechs Esszimmerstühlen, entworfen von Niels O. Møller und hergestellt von J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Dänemark. Das Modell 82 wurde ursprünglich 1970 entworfen und ist sofort erkennbar an seiner markanten, nahezu einen Meter hohen Rückenlehne. International bekannt als sogenannter „Embassy Chair“, fand dieses Modell breite Verwendung in diplomatischen und repräsentativen Interieurs weltweit.
Die Stühle überzeugen durch ihre ausgewogenen Proportionen, die ruhige, kraftvolle Präsenz und die außergewöhnliche handwerkliche Qualität. Das Gestell ist aus massivem Teakholz gefertigt, frisch geölt und zeigt eine warme, gleichmäßige Maserung. Die Sitzflächen sind mit dunkelbraunem Leder bezogen, das sich in schönem Originalzustand befindet und eine elegante Patina mit leichten, altersbedingten Gebrauchsspuren wie kleinen Kratzern und minimalen Farbveränderungen aufweist.
