Rare vintage “Peter” shelving unit made of metal uprights and crossbeams with smoked glass panels on top. Designed by Danish designer Niels Gammelgaard for Ikea in 1987. It is in very good vintage condition, so it does have some signs of use (and a few small rust spots), but it looks beautiful. The nice thing about this cabinet is that you can assemble it exactly how you want. You always start with the top section, after which you can expand to the left and right.
Currently not in full use, but see the second photo to view the cabinet in its entirety. I made wooden shelves myself to create 4 square spaces; if you would like to purchase it, I would come to pick it up so that the entire section can be loaded into the car. It can also be removed very easily, allowing the cabinet to be completely disassembled. Each section is approximately 40 cm x 85 cm, so 3 sections placed side by side will have dimensions of 255 cm x 40 cm. The smoked glass panels are approximately 38 x 43 cm.
Can be picked up from May 15 to May 23 in Valkenboskwartier, The Hague.
