This handmade wooden sideboard from Indonesia combines a robust construction with an expressive, multi-colored finish.
The design is made of Jati, also known as Indonesian Teak. In Indonesia, this special wood is known as the “king of wood” due to its strength, durability, and natural protection provided by the oils present. Thanks to the warm color and characterful wood grain, every product has a unique, natural appearance and will last for years.
The design is characterized by a vibrant palette of blue, green, and red, applied using a painterly technique that gives the furniture a unique, artistic character.
The piece is crafted from solid wood and features four doors, the two outer ones of which feature a slatted structure.
Centrally located are two drawers with wooden handles, which, together with the spacious compartments behind the doors, provide generous storage options. The visible wood grain and the layered painting technique contribute to the authentic appearance of the piece.
The sideboard is in excellent condition (like new) and displays the original, hand-painted finish. The construction is solid and the drawers and doors function properly.
