DESCRIPTION:
A beautiful and unique old plaster mantelpiece with two half-nude women serving as columns. These are called Caryatids, female statues that serve as pillars, originating from ancient Greece. The women carry the central beam, which features a leaf motif and thistles. This beam falls into the groove at the back. The statues are finished with a restrained color palette, making the set beautifully suitable for a variety of interiors.
This old decorative mantelpiece is made of plaster. It originates from Belgium and was originally from an old house. It was likely made in Belgium or France in the late 19th or 20th century.

CONDITION:
Very good condition, with a few very small spots (see photos) and a few scratches on the center beam. (See the last photos for a better idea of the condition)
PICKUP OR DELIVERY:
This item can be picked up at the showroom in Amsterdam South, but can also be personally delivered throughout the Netherlands and abroad. Within Amsterdam, the charge is €40. Outside Amsterdam, delivery starts at €40. (Request a quote).
A personal appointment will be made for delivery, and excellent service will be provided, including installation at the desired location with a smile.

WELCOME TO THE SHOWROOM: You are welcome to visit our 500m² showroom in Amsterdam South, opposite the UMC hospital. It is easily accessible by public transport and car. It is located directly next to the A10 ring road. The showroom is located outside the environmental zone. Free parking is available on-site for customers.
