The "Nanas" by French artist Niki de Saint Phalle are colorful, exuberant sculptures of voluptuous women, created in the 1960s as a celebration of femininity, strength, and joy. Since then, many creators and artists have been inspired by them, and this string of lights is a prime example. The creator is unknown, but the inspiration is clear. There are nine figures in total, each with a small light inside, similar to Christmas lights. Difficult to date, but not available new.
Dimensions of one figure: 10cm high x 7cm wide x 4cm deep.
Condition: in good working order. European plug, suitable for 220V. No damage, only very minor signs of wear consistent with age. Whoppah is obligated to check a sign of wear, so I selected scratches, but that doesn't apply here.
