An exceptional pair of stoneware (stentøj) wall candle holders, model 3351 Large, designed by Einar Johansen for the renowned Søholm factory in Bornholm, Denmark. These pieces represent the pinnacle of Danish studio pottery from the 1960s.
The glaze is spectacular: a deep, vibrant cobalt blue that fades into earthy tones, retaining its impeccable original brilliance. This is the rare Large (L) version, much more dramatic and sophisticated than the standard models. The presence of the original hallmarks on the back, including the "L" specification and the decorator's hand-signed signature, guarantees their authenticity and high collectible value.
