A sculptural masterpiece of light. This extraordinary floor lamp, designed and produced by AV Mazzega in the 1960s, is a towering example of Venetian glass artistry. Its iconic "Totem" or "Birillo" silhouette is a rare find, representing the pinnacle of Mid-Century Modern lighting and Space Age elegance.
The lamp is composed of four distinct hand-blown glass elements. The glass features the exquisite "Lattimo" (milk glass) inclusion technique, creating a sophisticated "pulegoso" or mottled effect. This craftsmanship ensures a soft, diffused glow that highlights the organic textures within the glass. Each section is separated by high-grade chrome-plated steel rings, providing a sleek architectural contrast to the warmth of the Murano glass.
