The Murano glass bowl is reminiscent of Vittorio Zecchin's bowl presented by Cappellin and Venini at the 1923 Monza Biennale, as published in “Vittorio Zecchin I vetri trasparenti per Cappellin e Venini” (Vittorio Zecchin: Transparent Glass for Cappellin and Venini) published by Stanze del Vetro. The color, thickness of the glass, and shape are reminiscent of the transparent bowls produced during those years.
