A stunning pair of original Mid-Century Modern wall lamps (sconces), designed by renowned Swedish designer Carl Fagerlund for the prestigious Orrefors glassworks (in collaboration with Lyfa) in the 1960s.
These iconic pieces feature textured, leaf-shaped solid glass diffusers, creating a stunning light refraction effect, reminiscent of sculpted ice. The supporting structure is made of polished brass with the typical original decorative bolts.
Designer: Carl Fagerlund.
Maker: Orrefors / Lyfa (Sweden).
Period: 1960s.
Materials: Heavy art glass (crackle style), brass.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The glass is intact with no chips or cracks. The brass has a beautiful natural patina consistent with its age.
Technical details: Each wall light requires two E14 bulbs (small).
