Murano opaline glass lamp from the late 1960s. The design features a distinctive "bubble" or "cage" effect, where a blown white opaline glass diffuser is enclosed in a geometric black metal frame with circular motifs. This unique process creates a textural and visual contrast typical of the Mid-Century Modern aesthetic.
This type of opaline glass diffuses light softly. Opaline glass was invented in Murano. New, in perfect condition, with a very sturdy cage and a remarkably thick glass. Lamp height: 38cm, diameter: 18cm, height with chain: 92cm. Weight: 2.5kg. Fully functional and wired. Opaline glass diffuses light better and more uniformly than clear glass. Four more pieces are available for those wishing to combine them in a room.
