This new handmade Mrirt Moroccan rug is a refined and contemporary interpretation of traditional Berber craftsmanship. Woven entirely by hand using 100% natural sheep wool, this rug was created by our women’s cooperative in Morocco, preserving ancestral techniques while embracing a modern aesthetic.
Its rich golden yellow tone and structured raised square pattern create a sculptural surface with depth and texture. The thick, plush wool pile is exceptionally soft underfoot, offering both comfort and durability. Mrirt rugs are known for their high-quality wool, dense knotting, and luxurious feel.
Each rug is woven slowly and carefully on a traditional loom, making every piece unique. Subtle variations in texture are part of its handmade charm and authenticity.
