An iconic design classic of Swiss Modernism: an original coffee table by Dieter Waeckerlin for Idealheim from the 1960s. The rectangular tabletop is crafted from a finely worked mosaic of teak and walnut. The precisely placed individual elements create a vibrant, textured surface, which gains a special depth through the interplay of the different wood nuances – making each piece unique. The tabletop is supported by a solid teak base, which combines stability with a clear, architectural design. The purist design, devoid of any additional mechanics, underscores the minimalist, geometric aesthetic of Swiss post-war Modernism.
